slacking... again

so i've already started slacking on this thing but life gets crazy around orientation time. just been doing a LOT of sketching when i'm not at work or playing GuildWars with my bf. yay vanquishing.

im going to go home for a little while. it's my first road trip by myself so that's always entertaining. i'm sure i'll have a story to tell once i get there, yes i'm taking my computer with me so i don't go crazy, and now i'll have an escape in case the before mentioned crazy sets in anyways. i get to see a DEAR friend of mine that i haven't seen in 2 years. it's ridiculous but now nothing is stopping us. ^___^ i swear he's like a soul mate from another life or something if that makes sense. not that any one person should deserve two people... it's crazy to try to explain.

i've also been reading the Twilight series and 'm almost done with book three in time for book four. ^_^ yay obsessive reading until the crack of dawn. which is funny because i believe the new book is called breaking dawn... or something like that. woot woot. i guess i can relate to bella. GASP! that's how it is for me with the above mentioned friend. nods nods. he's my jacob and my bf is edward... snorts okay maybe my emmett but that's a different story. ^__^ bangs head on table. i really should be cleaning and packing right now... and finding my check book. *le sigh*

Orientation day

today was orientation. small group was amazing fun. especially the pikapika tongatonga. never undersetimate the piketonga confusional bliss. muwahahahahaha

got to pop lots of balloons, got smacked in the head... an endless amount of times. one of my friends fell asleep right before his monologue... oops. then drew a spiffy comic about the now infamous FrankNDhirj incident. woot woot.

i'm really tired now and more orientation is on the way so i'll give a better update later.

a busy saturday...

today was fun. kept waking up at 6 or 8 all this week... EVIL!!!! but i'm really really good at going back to sleep *~*

so i finally got up and called my dad to tell him more about my poor car. always fun stuff. then played some phone tag with onee, daryl and her bf chris (who's a sweetie) then we headed off to see the dark knight. AMAZING MOVIE! my only complaint was... well there's two. katie holmes did not return as Rachel which i felt messed up the chemistry of the movie and i had to pee like 20 minutes into it and i'm pretty sure it's at least a 2 hour movie. O_o there's one part where a person on screen says he'll be right back because he's going to go pee and i think i complained out loud about 'why does he get to pee?'

then we-Daryl went to Chili's for an onee birthday lunch/dinner. YAY ONEE! lots of fun and good stories. afterwards a short trip to target with a few cold hand wars **remembers fondly** we came back to my place and i spoiled the entire show advatar for myself by watching the end special... i might go back and watch the beginning now b/c it was cute... but i have other shows to catch up on first.

so now i'm home making asparagus to keep from falling asleep b/c.. it's like barely 10. WHO goes to bed at 10 in college? REALLY?

work day

so today was interesting. had a terrifying experience with my car. the check engine light is one and i figured it was just the gas cap since it's a butthead and we don't agree all the time but i took it in to autozone to see what the guy said. so had fun with Daryl while i was there, he was getting his battery recharged, and the guy gives me the news that there is an electrical problem with my car. oh crap. so then we are driving home and it's a short like... 5-6 min drive and after 30 seconds the battery light goes off in my car. oh crap. well i keep driving telling my car, only a little further and as i'm going the lights are getting dimmer and dimmer and it's getting harder and harder to steer.... OH CRAP! well then i get to the point where i can see my school and i'm like YAY! only one more major intersection to go, you can do it car. well then the airbag light goes off and i'm like O_O!!! at this point i'm thinking that it's going to deploy or something and hit me in the face and just massive chaos while the lights are like barely visible now and i can't really even see my instrument cluster... *whimper* but i BARELY make it over the HUGE speed bumps and get into a spot semi near my car and i swear i didn't turn it off before it just died. poor poor car. so i'm going to go get that fixed tomorrow. **crosses fingers** then go out with Onee to see Dark Night and Chili's for her Birthday. *loves Onee* but yeah... rather eventful evening.

i started the day with a busy work day and got LOTS of stuff done for Success Camp. YAY. Found out the boss i'm not too terribly fond of is quiting in the middle just like we all figured she would after she found out she was pregnant. i understand for her though. family is her life and the long hours away from her baby were killing her. this means we might potentially be screwed for the programs we have been working on, but we'll manage.

after that mess Brittany taught me and Daryl how to draw a bit. he's amazing at everything and i just adore him. it was like @_@ when he said i was better than him. i just stared at him in shock. you should SEE some of the things he can do but alas me, pencil and paper are good friends so it works i guess. i'm just glad he's not hounding me like he is Brittany for examples. poor thing. he's like a fascist slave driver but it's all in good fun. YAY creativity. i might link to my DA later once i figure out how to then the few people that come on here can see my attempts at art. ^_^

i'll tell you about my adventures tomorrow ^_^

had a busy day at work today. hurt myself a lot but over all it's been good.

got home and marathon-ed Naruto so i'm all caught up now. OMG how can they leave us there! *flail* you know. i think i secretly like not catching up until it's all released so i don't have to wait. i hate waiting. BLARG!

i have work early tomorrow... no bueno

had a lot of fun talking to the guys tonight. lots of jokes made at zero's expense ^__^. yay konari-draco tag team.
